Having spent a decade working as an architect, Luka Gerzina realised the fragmented approach the building industry resulted in compromised architectural design.

After a decade working as an architect in Sydney, Luka Gerzina recognised that the most successful projects come from a seamless connection between design and construction. To build on this insight, he spent a further eight years gaining hands-on experience with some of the industry’s leading builders, refining a unique approach that balances architectural vision with construction practicality.

In 2018, Luka founded Gerzina Architecture + Construction, a practice dedicated to bridging the gap between architect and builder. His focus is on delivering thoughtful, cohesive, and buildable residential projects—where design excellence, heritage sensitivity, and budget clarity work together from the first sketch to the final handover.

Originally from South Korea, Ambla holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Design. After spending a year in Canada, she relocated to Australia, where she has gained over five years of experience in the architectural industry.

Passionate about both architecture and interior design, Ambla brings a meticulous eye for detail to every project. Her expertise spans concept design, 2D documentation, and 3D rendering—skills she uses to transform ideas into clear, compelling visualisations of how spaces will look and feel in reality.

With a background as an Industrial Engineer and many years of experience as a Project Manager, Francisco brings both technical expertise and practical efficiency to our team. He has a talent for problem-solving and is always focused on finding smart, effective solutions to the challenges that arise on site.

As our onsite Project Manager, Francisco oversees and coordinates labour teams and manages material logistics—ensuring that every project runs smoothly and that design intent is delivered with precision.

Outside of work, Francisco is a passionate football fan (especially Boca Juniors) and enjoys spending time with friends.
